Channel 4 in the UK made a documentary that is a much watch for any fan of live music. The Great Ticket Scandal reveals ticket resellers like Viagogo (the Stubhub of Europe) to be making deals with Livenation and others that leave fans out of luck. Channel 4 goes undercover by having one of their journalists get a job at Viagogo. He finds large quantities of tickets are being allocated directly to the secondary market. Livenation is the biggest concert producer in the US, raising questions of what might be going on here as well. Watch the documentary in full after the jump:

Sort of like what just went down with Fiona Apple tix in NYC? Fans locked out, brokers got all the tix and are selling $40 face value tickets for over $200 a pop, including quite a few at $1,000 a ticket. So pissed as a fan. You have NO idea. But the artists are just as guilty. They need to be aware of what goes on and force their team/label/promoters to put barriers in place.
