Watch the Beastie Boys performing as a punk band in 1984
Once upon a time the Beastie Boys were a young up and coming punk band that played NYC venues like CBGBs. They featured future Luscious Jackson drummer Kate Schellenbach and the boys jammed out on actual instruments. Check out this February 14th 1984 clip of the band on NY public access The Scott and Gary Show playing a song called White Shadow.
