Official Charts Company sales data released today (October 17) reveals that vinyl sales in the UK are higher than they have been since 2003, boosted by big name albums such as Daft Punk’s ‘Random Access Memories’ and ‘AM’ by Arctic Monkeys. In total, more than 532,000 LPs have been purchased in the UK so far in 2013, a year-on-year increase of more than 100 per cent.
