Watch vintage dancers get down to new songs with web app
New web app letsdance.to lets you pair up classic dance videos with new songs. I just had a blast pairing Soul Train dances with Modest Mouse and Wu Tang songs. From creator Edward Forshaw:
letsdance.to is an app that mixes new songs with old video clips of dancers. It uses the excellent Echonest API to sync songs and dancers based on their BPM and various other factors such as their energy levels and danceability. Finding combinations of songs and dancers that fit can be addictive! (It currently does not work on mobile yet).
