Video: Stephen Colbert rips MTV for banning Daft Punk, hosts celebrity dance party
As you are probably aware Daft Punk was slated to perform on The Colbert Report last night. It turned out too good to be true as Viacom president Van Toffler’s ‘peeps were feeling funky’ and didn’t want Daft Punk to play both The Colbert Report and the VMAs (spoiler). After ripping MTV/Viacom to shreds, Colbert salvaged the show by having a Get Lucky dance party with Bryan Cranston, Matt Damon and more. Watch below:
