On August 15th, 1965 The Beatles played their now legendary concert at NYC’s Shea Stadium,which was attended by over 55,000 people. As introduced by Ed Sullivan when they took the stage “Now, ladies and gentlemen, honored by their country, decorated by their Queen, and loved here in America, here are The Beatles!” Watch a video of the show below:
