Video: David Lee Roth explains Van Halen’s infamous “Brown M&M’ tour rider
For years Van Halen had a tour rider(see above) that was legendary for specifying there to be no brown M&M’s (no offense to Vanessa Williams and her recent announcement). For a long time people chalked this up to Van Halen being typical rockstar divas, but more recently the reason they did this came to light and it makes a lot of sense. David Lee Roth explains it himself in the video below:
