Skip ahead to the 4 minute mark to see things start to get good. This scene is virtually unchanged today. The fashion, the music, the moves (yes that bottle on the top of your head move at 4:22 is still popular), and even some of the participants are the same 18 years later. If you walk into the park at 72nd street (click here for a map) on a weekend afternoon and head towards the center there is a good chance you will see them. There is even a Central Dance Skater Association.
