Gothamist posted this trailer for the documentary Blank City: The No Wave Years. This film captures cinema in that gritty NYC era when the East Village was not a playground for recent college grads, but a dangerous, cheap living area for junkies and artists. You will see many faces you recognize in this clip. The film will be showing in NY at IFC on April 6th.
